Congratulations to North Mason School District's Family Liaison, Mateo Santiago, for receiving the 2024 Latino Community Leadership Award at Mason County's first ever LatinX Prevention Summit yesterday. Mateo was recognized for his outstanding leadership, compassion, dedication, and for building community partnerships that greatly impact the quality of life for our Latin community in Mason County.
NMSD also sent 23 students from North Mason High School and Hawkins Middle School to the summit to learn about ways to support community substance abuse prevention efforts.
