announcement

Dear North Mason Families and Community,

After much reflection and consideration, I am writing to formally announce my retirement as Superintendent of North Mason School District, effective June 30, 2025. This decision has not been made lightly, as my time here has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling periods of my professional career.

Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team of educators, administration, and support staff. Together, we have navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and most importantly, made a positive impact on the lives of our students. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished as a district, from building effective systems of support to fostering a culture of inclusivity, and innovation, building a focus on Whole Child, Whole School, Whole Community. We have led the way in developing MTSS (multi-tiered systems of support), implementing student safety initiatives and supporting the health of students, staff and families through our partnership resulting in our campus health center.

I am confident that the district is well-positioned for success. Our dedicated staff, engaged community, and talented students will undoubtedly carry forward the mission and vision we have collectively established. I look forward to the coming year as we continue to learn and grow together.

I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition and will work closely with the Board of Education to support the search for my successor.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Board of Education, our staff, students, parents, and community members for their unwavering support and collaboration. It has been an honor to serve as your Superintendent, and I will cherish the memories and relationships built during my tenure.

As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I look forward to spending more time with my family and pursuing personal interests. I will always remain a steadfast advocate for public education and the success of our students.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community. I will you all continued success and prosperity.

Warm regards,

Dana Rosenbach
